The Carino's Cares Foundation hosted a two day children's charity fundraising event on Oct 12-13 at the Lost Pines Hyatt Resort in Cedar Creek, TX. J. Mark Photography was pleased to be asked to participate as the photographers. The fundraising main event was a golf tournament on the 18-hole signature course designed by Arthur Hills. The resort is beautiful and recently ranked in top 100 Golf Resorts. The event started out with awards for sponsors, vendor of the year, a great dinner and information about the fundraising recipients. They include the Marbridge Foundation, Limbs for Life, Ronald Mc Donald House, Dell Children's Hospital and Angelheart Children's Home, just to name a few. The night ended with a super fun casino night. The next day a shotgun style golf tournament began with closest to the hole and longest drive competitions along with the low score team awards. Lunch was provided by Rudy's (yummy) and a great time was had by all, including Mark and I. And, oh by the way, this event raised approximately $300,000! Super cool. We hope to be able to participate again next year!
