Sarah and Forrest at Chateau on the Creek, Round Rock

What a glorious day! We always talk about timing with each couple and Sarah had this down. Hair and make-up right on time, arrive at the venue a few minutes early, pictures with the girls and then time to relax before her trip down the aisle with her dad. Forrest was having a great fun filled day with his groomsmen, who were also ready in advance. They made our jobs super easy! It is funny the things that you notice when taking pictures. At this wedding, we couldn't help but notice how nicely their guests were dressed. They had a lovely ceremony and then on to a beautiful reception. Kathy and Steve Hunt are pro's and they have wonderful staff. Great food and, of course, a beautiful cake made by Kathy. Sarah was simply gorgeous and Forest couldn't take his eyes off of her. Forrest works for Dell and Sarah recently finished her MBA at Texas State and manages Business Development for a consulting firm. They will honeymoon in her home country of Australia in the Spring. I am sure they will have quite a bash down under!

Leigh Ann and Matt at Angel Springs, Georgetown

What a simply gorgeous wedding day! It has rained the entire week leading up to this wedding, but the day was cool and just slightly overcast. Leigh Ann and Matt decided to celebrate Matt’s heritage and incorporate many Scottish traditions. Matt wore a kilt. Mark said he thought wedding dresses could be complex to assemble but nothing compared to the kilt. The ceremony also had Scottish touches. They had cool bag pipes for the music and a hand-fasting ceremony. You might remember this was part of the Kate Middleton and Prince William marriage ceremony. The best man and maid of honor assisted in joining Leigh Ann and Matts hands with a plaid sash.  It was such a nice touch. At the end, Matt brought Leigh Ann into the clan by putting a sash of his clan’s tartan over her dress.   The reception was fun filled. Guests enjoyed a very tasty BBQ meal and a wonderful cake. Of course, a busy dance floor thanks to Mike Krites with Pro DJ Services and the night ended with sparklers and a surprise limo ride to a hotel compliments of the bridal party. We must give a huge shout out to Deidre Browne with Detailed Weddings. She was a wedding coordinator extraordinaire!

Kim and Russell @ the Inn at Salado

The Inn at Salado Bed and Breakfast resides in the historical Norton-Orgain House in the center of Salado. The house was built in 1871 by Mr. Edward R. A. Buckles, who was the owner of the famous Stagecoach Inn and one of the founders of the city. It was an absolute honor to photography Kim and Russell’s wedding. The color of the day was bright green! Everything from the cutie tennis shoes, to the color found in her dress, ties and linens. I marveled at how calm Kim was and how organized! Their day was prefect as they celebrated with all the people they love. We have to give a shout out to Nicole, Inn at Salado wedding coordinator extraordinaire. PS. I had to ask Russell about the theme of the cake. He told me that Kim started collecting vintage Pyrex. Each layer was one of their patterns – cute inspiration! Enjoy a clip from their day!
