Brooklynn - A Christmas Miracle

After trying to have a baby for 10 years, Brent and Jennifer Pfluger were blessed with tiny Miss Brooklynn. Weighing in at 5 pounds, we were honored to take this precious baby's portrait at 14 days old. Jennifer is sure enjoying motherhood but only got to enjoy a short pregnancy.... what? Well, after years of disappointments, no pregnancy symptoms, Jennifer didn't find out she was expecting until later in her pregnancy and didn't even know the gender of the baby until delivery time! Jennifer works for the great state of Texas and Brent owns Pfluger Heating and Air Conditioning. Brent is a direct descendant of Henry Pfluger, who arrived in Texas in 1849 and settled into the area now known as Pflugerville. We are thrilled for this young family and look forward to many more sessions with Brooklynn. Enjoy!

Baron - an early Christmas present!

We have been the Hanson Family photographer since big sister, Olivia was born. It truly is an honor to watch young families grow and capture life changes through photography. Baron is a big name for such a little guy. Born 3 weeks early, Baron gets his first gold star for being the easiest newborn we have ever photographed. No feeding breaks, hardly a peep, and slept the whole time. It is wonderful to travel to new parents homes for these sessions. New mom's don't get much sleep or many breaks so they get these wonderful images and don't have to spend time lugging baby, car seat, diaper bags to a studio. Meet Master Baron...

Unleashed Unlimited Dog (and one cat) Photo session

We have really enjoyed meeting all the owners and dogs out at the training sessions with Paul and Tracey of Unleashed Unlimited. Mark was doing pretty well training Kate early on, but he came across dog owners, Doug and Feydra, walking on a greenbelt and he had to stop and ask about their well trained dogs. The answer was Unleashed Unlimited. Our dog is a 9 month old Vizsla, Kate, with a true adolescent brain and she is really turning into a great dog thanks to Unleashed Unlimited, as well as, Mark's dedication to her home training and reinforcement.

For this photo session we set up a portable studio at the training facility and were able to capture some of the most precious images. It was a blast and photo sessions are really easy with well trained pets. Paul told owners that they could bring props and Megan decided to bring a cat! It was so cute. Enjoy some beautiful pups!

Sandra's Bridals

We usually don't post bridal sessions until "after" the wedding to keep the groom from seeing them, however we had a fun first time happening... Tony, Sandra's fiance, joined us for the bridal portrait session. Sandra said he helped picked out the dress! I wish Mark was not the only one with a camera; so I could have gotten the huge smile on Tony's face when he saw Sandra walk out in her dress with hair and make up done. His smile was huge and from ear to ear. Something tells me we will see that same big smile as Sandra walks down the aisle. This couple is totally in love. It is winter and with the unpredictable weather, Sandra decided to use the state Capitol. We can't complain, it is one of our favorite locations. Tony wanted a serious picture, not sure we got it... because Sandra was too happy. Wedding in about 6 weeks! More to come.

Sandra and Tony

We could not have asked for a more beautiful fall afternoon for Tony and Sandra's engagement session. The weather was perfect and the colors awesome. I tell Tony every time that I see him, that he is a "thinker". He is quiet, listening and never misses a beat. He did say that this engagement session was his first professional photo session! Wow, we are glad to be the photographers selected! Sandra is the perfect compliment for Tony. She loves to laugh and makes him smile. They own a moving company and Sandra just opened a new consignment store. I am so impressed with these young entrepreneurs. Tony and Sandra will get married just two months. We are really looking forward to their wedding!
