Julie and Paulino - Elegance at Kindred Oaks

Julie and Paulino had their wedding at Kindred Oaks on April 23rd. The day started out a bit blustery, but the winds calmed and it was gorgeous. Now, lets talk about all things gorgeous. First the couple - Paulino looked so handsome and Julie was simply stunning. She had two dresses by the same designer - one for the ceremony and then changed into a shorter version for the last part of the reception. The flowers ...wow! ZuZu's Petals created the most romantic center pieces ever! Beautiful linens, charger plates and china, delicious food by Eudora's Cuisine, now add in Kindred Oaks and all we can say is that the entire event was beautiful! The china used to serve the incredible strawberry filled Simon Lee cake was passed down to Julie. In leiu of favors, the couple made a donation to charity. Donna Aleman with Ame Soeur Events provide awesome wedding coordination. She is fabulous! Like we do for all our couples, we opened up J. Mark Photography's live photobooth! The guests had a blast. The reception ended with a tribute to Paulino's heritage, a just married piñata was enjoyed by not only the children, but the bride. Piñatas are believed to have originated among the Mayans and were meant to be broken forcefully with poles and sticks, so the contents spilled to signify abundance of favors from the Gods. We think their marriage has been blessed with the love of their family and friends. Paula works for a local gaming company and his project is World of Warcarft. Julie manages a health clinic. They are honeymooning in Maui.

Tonya and Eric

Built in 1955, the Hankamer-Fleming Chapel is a well known Round Rock landmark. It is such a beautiful chapel and where Tonya and Eric exchanged their vows in front of their family and friends. Tonya was given a great gift, her father walked her down the aisle and then conducted the ceremony. Tonya's dad is also a minister. His words and prayers came from the heart. It was very special ceremony with some incredible music. Then across the street to the American Legion where guests enjoyed a BBQ dinner and a yummy red velvet wedding cake. The feel of the reception was true fellowship. Tonya works for Dell Children's Hospital in the Radiology Department and Eric is a police officer. They left on Sunday to a much deserved and anticipated cruise. Tonya worked really hard planning the wedding. We hope she doesn't leave the comfort of a lounge chair for the first couple of days

Scott and Tonya - Tall guy and a tiny girl!

We met the couple at Scott's ranch for their engagement session. We hoped for a ton of blue bonnets but central Texas didn't get enough rain and this years crop was pretty poor...but we had a good time roaming around the ranch finding places to take pictures. There were endless possibilities. Scott did tell us to watch for snakes and we were pretty proud of ourselves when we very "calmly" asked if they have seen many! This session had a Texas rustic feel which totally matched their personalities. I loved when we asked Tonya to sit in the grass... in her dress and she said - no problem! Easy and fun. Tonya is a teacher for Buda ISD and works with pre-K kiddos and Scott works for a local emergency service district and on his family farm in Georgetown. Georgetown to Buda, now that is a big commute!
