Mark and I packed up our equipment to get ready and leave
for Jaidev and Stephanie’s in the pouring rain. We had never visited Villa
Bella but knew this was a new outside venue and wondered what the couple would
do if the rain continued. But just a few sprinkles here and there and by
ceremony time beautiful clouds were in the sky with 100% humidity but no rain!
This couple had a wonderfully planned ceremony combining Jaidev’s heritage and
culture with that of Stephanie’s. They planted a tree combining soil from
Jaidev’s home in India, with soil from the house where Stephanie grew up and soil
from the home the couple recently built. The dinner was awesome and the couple
selected traditional Indian food catered by the Clay Pit. Sweet toasts, a
choreographed first dance and wonderful cake from Michelle's Patisserie was
followed by a very packed dance floor and lots of activity in our live photo
booth… and then the rain came back, but the night was almost over! Lovely
wedding Jaidev and Stephanie!
