Jim and Mary at St. Austin and Chateau Bellevue

This lovely couple was married with a beautiful mass at St. Austin’s Catholic Church, home of the Paulist Fathers. The Paulists deliver a message to meet the desires of a contemporary culture. It really was a sweet ceremony and felt very comfortable and intimate in a large setting. This couple had a beautiful start with words of wisdom and encouragement.  Then off to Chateau Bellevue the current home of the Austin Women’s Club. The mansion was built by Harvey and Catherine North in 1874. The North’s were new comers to Austin when construction began. Before coming to Austin, Harvey North was a merchant in New Orleans. He took his family on long visits to Europe, giving credence to the idea that Bellevue’s castle imagery evoked European castles… and it does. Simply stunning…and what a party! Live music, good food, wonderful toasts, fun in the live photo booth and lots of dancing. The couple departed to bubbles and left in a very Austin way…. On a pedicab!  Congrats to Jim and Mary.
