Bailey and Tyson tied the knot at Texas Old Town on Friday, June 22nd. Bailey
and Tyson are both high school teachers (bless them) in South Austin and they
met on the job. The short and sweet ceremony was conducted by a family
friend. Aren't the two little cowboys with the "Here comes the bride" sign
simply adorable? Bailey had the most spectacular champagne colored
gown. However, she readily admits that buying a dress in December that is ultra
heavy and hot may not be what you want in Texas at the end of June! About half
way through the reception, Bailey changed into jean shorts. Ahhh... coolness
and it makes getting flipped by a guest while dancing much easier! Cactus and
chili ristas decorated the tables. If I could note just one thing about the
reception, I would say it was all about the guests. Wonderfully smokey fajitas
for dinner, cupcakes, door prizes to give away all the center pieces and a flip
books for the guests to take home from "On The Flip Side". Retro and really fun!
The couple is honeymooning in the Grand Cayman's. It was a great event. Thanks
for including us!

Andrea and Chad - South Congress Engagement Session
You would never know by looking at the pictures that it was 102 and blazing
sunshine when we took this engagement session! We had a great time roaming
around SoCo with this fun couple - sweat and all! Andrea is an elementary
school teacher in San Antonio and Chad works with adolescents with behavior
problems in Kyle. Wow... both have super hard jobs. Add in planning and
organizing a wedding - they sure have their hands full. We can't imagine the
miles they have put on their cars commuting between their two homes. We are
so glad we met this young couple and excited that they selected us to photograph
their wedding in November at the lovely Kindred Oaks. Ahhh November... cool
weather!

Molly and Michael - The Austin Stone Community Church and UT AT&T Conference Center
Molly and Michael had their
wedding on June 16th at the Austin Stone Community Church. This is not your
typical church setting but it sure is a fun one! I bet the place "rocks" out
during the services. A large urban warehouse was made warm and glowy with deep
purple, damask and lots of candles. The ceremony was unique and customized just
for this couple. Words were from the heart and with the hand of God. Then off to
the reception at the UT AT&T Conference Center in beautiful Austin, TX! We
were super thrilled to be their wedding photographers. We loved everything about
this wedding from the awesome coordination by Jessica, the gobo name and
up lighting and superior DJing from Austin Party Machine - the dance floor was
always packed. What a bunch of Aggies and Longhorns. The cakes were both beautiful and memorable and we hear baked and
decorated by a family friend. An exit to bubbles and a pedicab ended the
wonderful event. The couple is honeymooning at Disney World. Have fun guys and
thanks for taking us along on the ride!
