Sara and Bobby “Get Hitched” in Fredericksburg

Weddings in Fredericksburg are huge and this one was no exception! I asked Glenda, the wedding coordinator for the event, how you host a wedding for 350 or more people and she said the entire community pitches in! The couple got married at the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church built in 1893. It is a beautiful old church with dark wood beams and pews. This was a fun filled wedding and reception. Being A&M graduates, the minister waved a 12th Man towel during the ceremony to show his support of the couple at his alter. Sara wore cowboy boots for comfort and because they fit her personality perfectly. Her "something blue" was a pair of softball socks and during the formal pictures she proudly showed them to the camera along with her bouquet bat perfect softball swing. At the reception, Bobby who is a federal meat inspector used a honing steel to sharpen one of his first butchers knife to cut the cake and his sense of humor continued with the garter toss. A fun couple, a huge grand march, yummy BBQ, lots of family and friends and one awesome sunset made for a great wedding and a super day for J. Mark Photography. And could you tell Sara was a softball player?
