Dana and Paul

We were lucky enough to be selected to photograph Dana and Paul's wedding on the University of Texas campus at the Darrell K Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium. It was a really fun and different experience. Everything is bigger in Texas and what could be bigger than getting married at the UT football Stadium? Dana and Paul are both UT graduates where Paul was a member of the UT swim team. The summer of 2009 may go down as one of the hottest on record here in Austin, so the plan to host the ceremony on the field was sidelined. Paul and Dana used the concourse area with the drum Big Bertha as a backdrop. It was an awesome ceremony with a special family blessing. It showed the strength of support and the depth of the families love. The girls were dressed in… what else but orange? The guys in cool linen. We had a blast taking formal pictures on the new turf and all around the stadium. The reception was held in the Centennial room overlooking the 50 yard line. A special cultural dance was preformed by one of Dana’s bridesmaids. A great time was had by all.
