What a lovely day for a wedding. It was a bit overcast, but a very pleasant
afternoon over the waters of Lake Travis. Stacey and Alexis have been planning
this awesome event for about a year and a half. Two words come to mind as
descriptors - intimate and elegant. All of their family had to travel to Austin,
which inspired Stacey to arranged for a bus to transport everyone as a group.
The couple has an incredible group of friends (plus their sweet dog,
Olivia) that celebrated their touching ceremony and then danced the night away.
Purple was the signature color for ties, shoes, dresses and flowers. Stacey wore
two beautiful dresses. A full gown for the ceremony and a short dress with a
classic birdcage veil for the reception. We had the pleasure to work
with Anthony from Greenbelt DJ. Stacey and Alexis selected Spinning Leaf Films
for their videographers. They showed a clip of the ceremony during the
reception. It was very nicely done! The couple met while serving in the Army
while stationed at Ft. Hood. Alexis is now a civilian contractor in Afghanistan
but will soon be home for good. Stacey has been a very dedicated student and
just finished her degree in health education and nutrition. Which by the way,
Stacey is very talented and motivating. She helped a good friend lose over 100
pounds in a year! The couple went on a romantic honeymoon to Fiji.

It has been a busy few weeks.
Just a quick update from the past few weeks. It has been a little busy and it looks like October is headed the same way.
We had the opportunity to conduct several portrait sessions over the past month. Austin at 7 months, the Unger Family and Pflugerville High School Cheerleader Gabrielle.
Here are a few shots of little Austin in the studio.

Here is the Unger family's session out at Round Rock Memorial Park. I really like the colors we get here late in the afternoon.
And finally, here is Gabby, the Pflugerville Cheerleader. Back at the park. So many different backgrounds to choose from.
(And no walls were harmed during this photo session. ;-D )
