Dr. Elizabeth Adams - Occidental, Washington DC

I have literally known Elizabeth all her life and was thrilled that I could both attend and photograph her Ph. D. celebration at the Occidental. Elizabeth has earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Galludette University. It was an incredible cocktail party. Terrific foods, a very proud Mom and Dad who gave a heart felt toast, along other people that have supported her along the way - family, friends and mentors. Elizabeth has an amazing group of freinds that surpised her with diamond ear rings... and then the dancing broke out! A wonderful night.

Shannon

We love meeting our next generation of leaders and Shannon will be one of them! We met Shannon and her mom, Sue, out at the beautiful Kindred Oaks for this senior portrait session. She is counting down the days until graduation. She told us exactly how many! Then Shannon will bleed maroon when she leaves home to study engineering at Texas A&M University. Her parents are big Longhorn fan's, so this should make things interesting!  We discovered that Shannon loves math and science, so she is kindred soul for Mark which makes her a very foreign concept to Vicki. Shannon was a delight. Enjoy her portraits!

Courtney

What a great time we had taking Courtney's senior portraits this week. She is a Mc Neil High School senior and looking forward to graduation. I must say she was so totally cute in her cowboy boots and sassy shorts! The weather was perfect. We took a stroll through the park and managed a few outfit changes. She is a beauty. We even had her boyfriend, Mark jump in for a couple of clicks of the camera. Enjoy!

Charlotte and Daniel

Charlotte and Daniel live in Lubbock. They were in Austin for a vacation and took time out of their busy schedules to meet us for an engagement session. And when I say busy, I mean it! Daniel is finishing up his degree as full time student at Texas Tech plus he works full time.. Charlotte just graduated. August is just plain hot in this great state, but Charlotte and Daniel were troopers. Charlotte's mom and dog "Lucky" joined in on the fun. Cute couple and we know they are going to have a great wedding at Kindred Oaks. Guns up!

West Point Graduation

Our nephew, Derek, recently graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. It was a pure pleasure to visit new territory - New York's Hudson River Valley region and join in the festivities. Friday was the parade of cadets. The various companies each entered from different buildings surrounding the field. The precision was amazing and an incredible sight. On graduation day, we listened to President Obama give the keynote address, cheered (and of course took pictures) as Derek was handed his diploma and watched the hats fly. Following the commencement, we moved to a location overlooking the campus for Derek's pinning of rank. Alan Ludwick, our brother-in-law, was the first to salute Derek. Not a dry eye in the place. It was a once in a life time experience. We are incredibly proud of Derek. We had to add one picture of Jonas. He graduated last in the class to the cheers of his classmates! Last is really not a bad thing. Each cadet donated to a pot of money, the alumni association matched the cadets donation and... Jonas walked away with several thousand dollars and what is he? A second lieutenant with a degree from West Point!
