Sheryl and Robert met while attending Baylor University. They took jobs and live in California but married in Austin. The ceremony was held at the lovely St. Thomas More Catholic church. The priest focused a great message on the commitment of marriage before the exchange of rings. Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the Austin Club. The Austin Club was originally The Millett Opera House built in 1878. It has been many things, but become the home of the Austin Club since 1981. The grandeur of the opera house has been maintained in this lovely space. This was our second wedding in a row with a Cinderella theme reflected in the grown, cake topped with a glass slipper on a fondant pillow to the horse drawn carriage for departure. Everyone did a lovely job with planning and execution of this event. I can’t imagine the coordination efforts between Austin and California. The couple is relaxing at the beach at a Caribbean island.

Christie and Kyle @ Chateau on the Creek, Round Rock
Christie and Kyle had such a lovely Sunday wedding at the always lush and green Chateau on the Creek. We were keeping an eye on the sky because spring showers were in the forecast. Before the ceremony, Kyle was blind folded and taken into the brides room where Kyle and Christie held hands in prayer. Kyle said wonderful words giving thanks for the day and prayed for the rain to hold off. As we finished up formal pictures and it started to sprinkle, Kyle said… I prayed for the rain to hold off, but I didn't say for how long! We took one look at Christie’s dress and said you look like Cinderella. She said that was her theme. The cake had such a cute topper of the prince and his bride. Family and friends celebrated with a late lunch, delicious cake by Kathy and dancing. It was daylight but they exited to sparklers…and it worked! This day was all about love and support for this couple. The couple headed down to Galveston for their honeymoon.
