It was a pleasure meeting Monte Akers, Round Rock resident, attorney, lifelong history and Civil War enthusiast, and published author. We visited his home, which is a mini museum, to take some headshots for the jacket cover of his new book. Monte has a super cool framed flag once owned by Abe Lincoln. While there, we took the opportunity to get a couple of family shots at the same time. We look forward to seeing our picture on his book!
