Schandra and Matt waiting on Bryce’s arrival

We love getting the opportunity to photograph weddings of fun couples but then getting to watch their families grow is even better. We shot Schandra and Matt’s wedding two years ago and this weekend we chance to do a maternity session with them. Schandra is due to deliver Bryce in just about 4 more weeks. We met at one of our favorite outdoor locations, Round Rock Memorial Park and had a great time catching up. You can tell by watching these two that they will be great new parents when little Brice arrives. Danielle and Charlie at Texas Old Town

What an amazing couple with incredible families! Danielle and Charlie tied the knot at the always beautiful and growing Texas Old Town. If you are looking for a large South Austin, Kyle, Buda venue space with terrific staff contact Danny and his team at info@texasoldtown.com - Rain had set into Central Texas and Danielle decided to avoid the stress and made the decision to have the wedding indoors, however she braved the burr, chilly air to take many of her pictures out side. We finished up with the new Mr and Mrs. Garcia right before it started to drizzle. Smack in the middle of Mardi Gras, Danielle's family celebrated their Louisiana heritage with the cajun food, beads, King Cake and Charlie added his own touch with an awesome Mariachi band. The s'more table was a huge hit and the DJ cranked up the volume for a busy dance floor. Kudos to Danielle's sister for coordinating a terrific event. Amber and Jonathan - The Oaks Event Center

Amber arrived in style to at St. Ignatius Catholic church is a classic 1956 Chevy. St. Ingnatius is also where Jonathan's mother got married...so it was a special day for their family. The priest gave a homily from the heart and conducted a beautiful mass. Then off to The Oaks Event Center. Almost a year ago, Jonathan and Amber won their reception at The Oaks in a free Friday giveaway at an open house. How cool is that? The management and staff were very attentive and provided exceptional service and support. Contact Stacy (stacy@oaksaustin.com) if you are looking for a south Austin venue that can hold a crowd! Amber, Jonathan and their guests enjoyed BBQ, yummy cakes, and lots of dancing. The J. Mark Photography live photo booth was a mad house .... so much laughing! The best man and maid of honor ended the night with a sweet champagne toast and a surprise gift - a wedding night hotel suite. After an exit to bubbles... we hear they left to continue the celebration at the "after party"!
