Priscilla and Oscar

We loved the old world style chapel at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church. The chairs face the large open aisle. It is a very unique set up that made it easy to see both the bride entering and the ceremony. The grandeur of the chapel was spectacular. Priscilla was escorted by her mother and the priest conducted a really sweet ceremony joining Oscar and Priscilla. The reception was held at the Plantation House. Luanna and her staff are wonderful and the event ran without a hitch! Before the start of the reception, Priscilla took a special moment to light a candle and remember her father. Oscar and Priscilla greeted their guest, during the cocktail hour, to the music of a mariachi band, followed by great food, yummy cake, tender toast and a first dance with her grandfather (who is a hoot by the way). The couple along with their family and friends literally danced the night away. They waived goodbye to their guests on the balcony and exited to sparklers. It was a beautiful evening.

Priscilla's Bridal Portraits

Bridal portraits have regained popularity in the last few years. We are glad because it is such a great opportunity for a trial run for hair, make-up, dress and for the bride to get comfortable with the camera. Priscilla is now Mrs. Bauer so we can finally post her portraits! We took this session on a Friday afternoon at the Plantation House in Pflugerville. The Plantation House is a breathtaking estate. The plantation-style mansion has awesome front columns, a lovely garden and endless settings for spectacular bridal portraits. Combine a stunning bride with a beautiful backdrop and you get this.... enjoy.

The Anderson Family

Getting ready for the holiday gift giving, the Anderson Family contacted us for a family portrait. We met early on a Sunday morning at one of our favorite Round Rock parks. A touch of fall in the air, beautiful water and great lighting plus a sweet family made this a wonderful session. They told us "tickle time" was the easiest pose.

Julie and Paulino -A recipe for romance

Sometimes you can just simply tell when two people are crazy about each other... a vibe, the way they look at each other or the feel of pure tenderness. We had fun with this couple at Mayfield Park this week and captured some really sweet shots. Julie claims to not be a big fan of the camera which is just plain silly because she is beautiful. We can tell that they are going to have a very sweet and special wedding next Spring at Kindred Oaks. It was a warm, beautiful and sunny day. There were not many peacocks roaming around Mayfield Park which seemed a bit odd. A quick check with the city and I found out that they are not enjoying the pond renovation and are out roaming around the other 21 acres of the park.
