Cru Dinnerware

Darbie, a local dinnerware designer called us and asked us if we could shoot her product for Bed, Bath and Beyond. It was our second product shoot, having shot jewelry before, and our studio is set up for the requirements of the shoot. We thought we would give it another "shot". It was fun, different and challenging. Darbie has a very cute product line. Polka dots and bold gold. Check out her stuff at www.cru-intl.com

Joe and Dane

About three weeks following their wedding in Hawaii, Dr. and Mrs. Joe Robson returned to have a "party" in Texas. What a fabulous celebration. Dane and Joe spent a lot of time focusing on the "details". A premier night and red carpet feel was created with movie tickets and all access passes. Ahi grilled tuna, ribeye steaks, a pasta station, a tent with a custom coffee bar, mood lighting, a DJ that cranked the volume up and got the crowd going, a lounge area, a photo booth and of course, J. Mark Photography. The couple spent the evening dancing, visiting and enjoying great food. Villa Antonia did a great job and provided wonderful service.

Dane's Bridal Session

Villa Antonia was a beautiful setting for this sleek bride. Dane and her twin sister joined us for her bridal session. Dane would be ultimately getting married in Hawaii but selected us to photograph their Texas reception. Dane went for cool and comfortable. No veil, she wore fancy flip flops and a slip on dress. It was a fun session with great results.

Amber's Bridal Session

One of our favorite bridal portrait locations is the Texas Capitol. The Extension consistently provides a great setting. The Capitol is free, clean, has great lighting, old columns, climate controlled and "usually" not crowded. Except for this Saturday... a political rally and protest both going on at the same time! But check out her pictures. You could not even tell! It is amazing how the rotunda just empties out when a bride gets in the middle. Amber was a celeb - two people stopped and asked if they could take a picture with her. No veil and a comfortable dress for this bride. She is easy going and fun.
