Ashley and Larry

Ashley and Larry were married May 23 rd at TenRoc Ranch just outside Salado, TX. TenRoc is a really well set up facility with multiple locations available. The main attraction I think is the amphitheater setting for the ceremony. Really an awesome place for a ceremony. The issue for the day was the rain. It had been raining all morning. It was still raining when it was time for us to shoot the guys before the ceremony. We found a dry spot and did our thing. Then just in time for us to shoot Ashley the rain stopped and stayed away for the ceremony and the rest of the evening. Cool!! We had a great time with Ashley, Larry, Friends and the entire family. Stacy and Kevin

Stacy and Kevin were married May 16 th at Reunion Ranch. It was a very rainy day but the rain stopped just in time for the wedding to be held outdoors as planned. It made for a very comfortable and cool evening. The folks at Reunion Ranch put on a great party for everyone. It looked to me that everyone had an outstanding time. Kevin is a car guy and we took several photos around his other pride and joy, and old Buick he is restoring. I think he said it was a '34 but don't hold me to that. Katie

Here is the bridal session we shot with Katie early this week. We got the opportunity to shoot at the Zilker Botanical Gardens is Austin. Fun place to shoot. I think you will agree that there are several backgrounds to use that help to make the portraits special. I will tell you that we shoot right before closing in the evening and if you shoot there it would be a good idea to put on some bug spray. The mosquitoes are crazy.

Kelsey and Alan (and Molly)

Kelsey and Alan are to be married on Valentines Day 2010. We got together this past week to shoot their engagement photos. We met up at a local park here in Round Rock. Love that place. Wide range of backgrounds to use for plenty of variation. Kelsey and Alan brought along their buddy Molly. She was even more excited than Kelsey and Alan to have her picture taken. Adriana and Mom on Mother's Day

We met a great Mom and Daughter team yesterday. Adriana wanted to do something special for her Mom on Mother's Day so she worked with us to set up a photo shoot with the two of them yesterday afternoon, Mother's Day. What a thoughtful daughter. They were troopers as we marched them all over the park with demands of sitting on rocks climbing hillsides (in heels), sprawling on the ground, etc. It was a little warm but not really too hot yet. But best of all, the wind was not blowing hard enough to push hair in faces. Stephanie and Matt

Stephanie Corley and Matt Ewald were married on May 2nd in Seguin, Texas. I must say that this one had a little bit of everything - emotion, fun, excitement. The ceremony was held at Friedens Church just outside of Seguin. And when I say outside of Seguin, I mean really near nothing. But it is a very nice church with some history. I think I remember reading that is was established in 1904 and still uses the original hand carved pews. I didn't include a picture but I did notice that they were flying the Texas flag proudly... but upside down. Mistakes happen. Matt and Stephanie's reception was to be held in New Braunfels but had to be changed when they realized that there was to be some big fest in town and most of the streets would be blocked off. No problem, they were able to arrange for the Seguin Coliseum and were able to set it up very nicely. Plus they were having a live band and the coliseum had a stage. Speaking of the band, they were really good and fun. I think you can tell from the photos that they were able to keep the crowd engaged. There was even a single case of crowd surfing. Luckily there was just enough crowd. Too funny. Matt and Stephanie visited and danced the night away. They departed to a walkway filled with bubbles. Fun time. Stacy

This is Stacy's bridal session from yesterday. She was looking for something different and outdoors. I think the train tracks took care of the different for us. It was a nice day but warm. Stacy was a trooper. I was melting. Stacy and Kevin's wedding is just around the corner on Saturday, May the 16 th. The ceremony and reception will be held at Reunion Ranch. Sonia and Matt

We met Sonia and Matt at an open house we held for couples looking for a wedding photographer. We did not have a huge crowd but Sonia and Matt did sign us to photograph their wedding in Feb. 2010. We met them at the Capitol to begin their engagement photo session. We took a few shoots around the Capitol grounds then headed down Congress St. to see what else we could find. Austin is such a fun place. We had no problems finding several interesting places to stop and play. Katie and Manuel

Katie and Manuel are getting married in June in New Braunfels. These are a few shots from there engagement session. We met them Sunday on the Texas State campus. We had not been there before but there are some very nice photo locations a backgrounds right there at the old fish hatchery. We had a good time getting to know Katie and Manuel. I know we will have a great time at their wedding. And what great smiles.
